How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?

Every display is custom, so the cost depends on the size of the property, how much roofline and how many trees and shrubs are lit, and any wreaths, garlands or other decor you add. We provide a free, no-obligation quote so you know the cost before you commit.

When should I book my holiday lighting?

As early as you can. Install dates fill quickly each fall, and customers who book early get the widest choice of dates. Most displays go up in the weeks before Thanksgiving so they are ready for the whole season.

Do I have to buy or store the lights myself?

No. We supply commercial-grade, energy-efficient LED lighting and decor, and we store your display in our dedicated facility after the season. Nothing takes up space in your garage or attic.

What happens if a bulb goes out or a storm damages my display?

Call us. Proactive maintenance is part of the service, and we respond to service calls promptly throughout the season so your display keeps looking the way it did on day one.

Are you insured?

Yes. Christmas Decor by Emerald Magic is fully insured, and our crews are trained to work safely on roofs, ladders and lifts. We have been decorating Long Island properties since 2001.

Do you decorate businesses and municipal properties?

Yes. We light storefronts, office buildings, shopping centers, venues, downtowns and municipal properties across Nassau and Suffolk counties, with the same design, installation, maintenance, removal and storage service.

Do you offer permanent lighting?

Yes. Permalites 365 is permanent perimeter lighting for homes and commercial buildings. It stays up all year and can be set to different colors for holidays, game days and events.

When do the lights come down?

We remove displays after the holiday season, typically starting in early January, and schedule takedown by route so every property is cleared in turn. You do not need to be home.
